Our guides are written to be followed. We explain the why behind a method so you can adapt it to your home, climate, and plants, rather than just copy steps. Gardening advice is general by nature — your conditions vary — so we flag where local factors matter.

Tested where we can

Where we recommend a tool or method, we say what we have actually tried and where we are passing on established practice. We do not invent results or before-and-afters.

Independence and disclosure

We do not sell coverage. Affiliate links, where used, are disclosed and never decide a recommendation. Sponsored content, where it exists, is clearly labelled.

Safety
